Laura McKinnis attended the YWAM Internship team John Henry led in 1998. Laura was a nursing student at Samford University. Laura’s internship was to Mongolia. Laura has 10 years experience in Emergency Medicine. Laura has an additional five years experience as an ER RN. Additional interests include writing and speaking about burnout amongst healthcare clinicians and encouraging peers and leaders to consider medicine as a ministry, not customer service. And she has been teaching and blogging about Medicine as Ministry. Laura joined us on the podcast from Wisconsin where she currently works as an ER Nurse at Infinity Healthcare.
